my thoughts on novel-writting and my novel

Writting the exerpts for my novel for writers craft has been a good experience! i liked being able to just think of something to write about and liking it so much that i could one day make it all and finish it and maybe even get it published one day! i liked how my novel was pretty grim and i still made every one laugh when i read out at the coffee house. It made me proud when ms.stronach sayed that Stephen King would be proud! thats where i got my inspiration from, i can't write sappy love stories, thats my weakness. i know that authors have a forté but they can also bend that forté to fit the novel that they are writting if they feel need to do so, i can't do that...i had a hard time writting a short story about two elderly people, i feel i almost have to write gore to be satisfied with my writting. it's what i grew up reading and what i prefer to write. i find it really easy to write about killing people and maniacal actions, its fun and i get a kick out of the crazy things i can put my characters through!!
